At a party, there are always a few guests who are a bit on the shy side and would rather not be the center of attention. However, with a little persuasion and nudging from their friends, they will grab the mic and sing their hearts out.
As with any karaoke night, you will hear dozens of different voices. Some guests could pass as the next Mariah Carey while others may have a voice that is so off base that you wouldn’t be able to distinguish it from the sound of nails on a chalkboard.
However, it really doesn’t matter either way because it’s not a contest and just about people being themselves and having fun. This is what makes karaoke so awesome; it allows people to just let loose and have a good time.
