We use the term 'Teens' usually to represent an audience between the ages of around 9Yrs to 12/13Yrs

This represents the cross-over age-group between 'Children' and 'Young-Adults' as far as a Disco is concerned

Depending on the ages attending- you may wish to have a look at our 'Children's' and our 'Young-Adult' Disco pages for some more ideas about what we can do... we can incorporate ANY mixture of elements of ANY of our Disco's in order to get it right for you

It takes a certain type of DJ to do a Disco for Teens properly... and it's mainly a matter of understanding the needs of the age group(s) attending

We don't JUST come along and play some music in the hope that the attending Teens will have a good time- we really do get involved! We do this by being completely approachable, friendly and interactive

Our Teen Discos can include games, competitions and spot-prizes of any kind that are relevant to the attending ages. (more info on this further down this page!)

We have vast experience in entertaining Teens, and will be happy to supply references

It is imperative to listen to what Teens want from their Disco, in order that we can really 'hit the spot' and that the entertainment isn't too 'young' or 'old' for them or their guests

MUSIC

Having a Disco that will play the right type of music will undoubtedly be one of the main priorities for most 9 to 13Yr olds

We can guarantee to get your music right, because the music we play will be of your own choice

We always ask for a music play-list if so if you wish to provide one, we will gladly accept this

We will play your choice of music and steer away from any music you don’t wish to hear

A music list is completely optional, however it really helps us get the music absolutely right for your Party. This is particularly true for Young Adult Disco's because there are so many potential genres for them to be 'into.’ Another factor is that a lot of music can have a quick turn-over in the music charts and therefore it often has a VERY short 'shelf-life.’ What filled the dance-floor a couple of weeks ago can be 'old' or 'out' today!

GAMES, COMPETITIONS & SPOT PRIZES

We'll be very happy to play your very own choice of games or competitions and to present prizes to the winners. We'll also show them the moves to some of the songs, and give out 'spot-prizes' for 'best' (or worst!!) dancer or singer, best couple, best dressed, etc.

The type of games amd competitions we organise will be decided by you. We'll be happy to offer ideas about what to do but the final descision on what we do and how we organise it will be yours.

Any interaction will be designed to suit you. Once we know what your preferences are, we can guarantee that the entertainment will be perfect for you and the ages attending

It's important to bear in mind that some teens may want a completely 'adult' disco with no competitions or games. If this is the case, then no problem!... just let us know what is required, and we'll do the rest

Even if games/competitions/spot-prizes aren't required- we have MANY tricks up our sleeve that will allow us to 'break-the-ice' without having to embarrass anyone into playing games if they aren't required!

If games or competitions are required, then the only thing we'll ask you to provide will be some prizes for us to give out- you can spend as little (or as much) as you like on prizes, but a multi-bag of fun-size Mars-bar type sweets is sufficient

We have vast experience of working with this age group, and we can guarantee to get it right for them.... we can offer this 'guarantee' because the content of the Disco is based on feedback directly from them- our Teen customers!!
